This traditional handmade Brazilian Castanha Agogo duo drum from Gope Percussion was hand crafted from natural castanha nuts (Bertholletia excelsa). These nuts are commonly called castanha-do-pará, each bell has a different pitch - one higher, one lower - to provide a unique, melodic sound. The agogo bells come with their own wooden stick. This Castanha Agogo set is the perfect addition to any percussion collection and will add a touch of South American style to your sound.
