You will love it for its quality and style. STURDY FULL-GRAIN LEATHER Leather production processes LEATHER: Our leather is sourced from Seidel Tanning Corp which is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Seidel Tanning is a fourth generation, family-owned business that sources all of their hides from US domestic markets. They work to combine new and old techniques, use a combination of chrome and vegetable tanning, and make all of their leather to order. Seidel has worked with us to create the perfect formula for our leather, which has a unique and rugged look. This leather develops a nice patina with use, is durable, and resistant to color fading over time. Due to the handmade nature, this leather is subject to changes in color, sometimes it can be lighter / darker than in the picture as each hide reacts to the dyeing process differently. This uses full-grain leather which may contain unique blemishes, marks, or scars. Leather color As leather is a natural material, please be aware that the shade of the leather hide used may vary slightly from the photo due to the dyeing process - sometimes the leather can be lighter/darker. Leather Peculiarities The process of making the leather involves applying a wax to the leather, which gives it a little rubs and scratches. Naturally, while producing, crafting and through wear and tear gets more scratched and shows the changes in the shades of colors. This leather type is valued due to the vintage effect it gives to the products. Leather characteristics it looks aged – eternal antique and vintage look that is displayed almost immediately after use. the full-grain leather is lustreless, it has smooth matted surface. this type of leather is very soft and has great tactility. highly durable and strong. wax used during processing makes protective barrier and it allows leather to withstand most liquids. through the wear and tear, the leather will become a scratched and rubbed with use it shows a change of color tone that truly reflects the vintage and rustic look.
