We have these Kolda Medium Basket in reds, pinks, blues and yellow. We leave our artisans from Senegal Africa to create a pot in the colours that they feel at the time of making. They are made from recycled materials that would have otherwise been wasted. These multicoloured storage baskets are suitable for many uses including holding spare change as a money pot, holding hairbands, trinkets, jewellery and other small items. In size they are approximately 11 cm, but will vary from item to item.
The traditional African design on this medium hand woven basket has been made by hand from straw and recycled plastic. The Senegalese basket have been made by intertwining strips of recycled plastic to form the basket and lid. These medium baskets are handmade in Senegal, Africa.
